01 Shanghai Electric and Fudan University Inaugurate a Multimodal Embodied Intelligence Key Laboratory.

Recently, the "Shanghai Key Laboratory of Multimodal Embodied Intelligence," spearheaded by Fudan University and jointly constructed by Shanghai Electric Automation Group, was officially inaugurated. The laboratory will undertake systematic research on cutting-edge theories, pivotal technologies, and industrial applications of embodied intelligence. By integrating with application scenarios such as intelligent manufacturing, the laboratory aims to advance the research and development of embodied intelligence systems and their engineering validation, enhance the synergy between fundamental research and industrial practice, expedite the translation and application of scientific research outcomes, and effectively contribute to major national strategies.

02 Shanghai Electric and Shanghai Jiao Tong University co-establish the Joint Research Center for Advanced Thermal Management Technology.

On January 30th, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Highly Group* officially signed a framework agreement to co-establish the "Joint Research Center for Advanced Thermal Management Technology." The center will concentrate on addressing key common challenges and exploring cutting-edge directions in advanced thermal management technology, constructing a comprehensive innovation system spanning "basic research - technology development - achievement commercialization - industrial application." This agreement signifies the deep commitment of both parties to the development philosophy of "industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaboration," jointly forging a hub for innovation in advanced thermal management technology and injecting robust impetus into the high-quality development of core components for household appliances and the new energy thermal management industry.

03 Multiple Power Plant Projects Undertaken by Shanghai Electric Successfully Commissioned Before Spring Festival.

In the run-up to the Spring Festival, multiple domestic and overseas projects participated by Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group were successively commissioned: Unit 9 of the Jiangyin Ligang 2×1,000 MW project, Unit 2 of the Indonesia Golden Light 3×90 MW project, Unit 8 of the Guoneng Changyuan Hanchuan 2×1,000 MW project, Unit 2 of the Huaihe Energy Xieqiao 2×660 MW project, Unit 8 of the Guoneng Qinhuangdao 2×350 MW project, Unit 1 of the Huineng Changchuan 2×660 MW project, and Unit 3 of the Guoneng Langfang Phase II 2×350 MW project were all successfully put into operation, injecting green momentum into the high-quality development of various regions in the inaugural year of the "15th Five-Year Plan."

Recently, Windpower Monthly, an internationally recognized authority in the wind energy sector, released its "Best Wind Turbines of 2025" rankings. Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd. has three onshore and offshore products featured on the prestigious list, spanning the Best Onshore Wind Turbine (below 6.9 MW), Best Onshore Wind Turbine (above 7.0 MW), and Best Offshore Wind Turbine categories. Notably, the EW16.0-252 offshore turbine earned the Silver Award in the Best Offshore Wind Turbine segment.
