Recently, after ten months of continuous effort and development system construction, the System & EE team at the Highly Marelli China R&D Center achieved a major breakthrough in software development process management and quality system development. The air conditioning controller development project, based on the UDT project, officially passed the ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) Capability Level 2 (L2) certification and received the official certification certificate issued by Jingwei Hengrun.

This achievement marks that the Company's project delivery capabilities, process quality control capabilities, and continuous improvement capabilities in the automotive electronics and software sectors have now been fully aligned with internationally mainstream standards, laying a solid foundation for the Company to further deepen its participation in the global intelligent connected vehicle industry competition.

ASPICE, as a software process assessment model widely adopted in the automotive industry, covers the entire software development lifecycle of vehicle controller software, encompassing 16 key process areas including embedded software requirements development, software architecture design, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and configuration management. It serves as an important benchmark for leading global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to evaluate software R&D capabilities. Capability Level 2 (L2) emphasizes that, on the basis of project delivery, the organization institutionalizes and standardizes key R&D processes, and achieves traceability, manageability, and continuous optimization of these processes.

This certification represents a systematic breakthrough in the controller software development process from "0" to "1," shifting the R&D model from an experience-driven "firefighting" approach to systematic development based on processes and standards. Through the establishment of standardized development processes, the Company has achieved traceable and consistent management across the entire lifecycle of requirements, changes, documentation, and delivery, significantly enhancing the standardization of the R&D process and quality assurance capabilities.
