Introduction

Recently, Wang Chenhao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Electric Group and Chairman of the Municipal Mechanical and Electrical Trade Union, led a team to Highly Thailand Base for a visit and research, went deep into the production line to see the actual operation, discussed with overseas management team the key work of international operation, industrial collaboration, long-term planning, etc., and sent organizational care to Chinese front-line employees who stuck to their posts under high temperature.

During the symposium, the research team listened to the special report of Haili Marelli Thailand Factory in detail. Wang Chenhao fully affirmed the phased achievements made by the factory in overcoming difficulties over the past five years. He pointed out that since the establishment and construction of the Haili Marelli Thailand factory in 2021, the management team has continuously improved its business situation through a series of measures in the face of multiple pressures such as shrinking demand from core customers, which deserves full recognition.

Regarding the implementation of the group's internationalization strategy, Wang Chenhao has put forward clear work requirements for the next stage of high-quality development of the Thai base. One is to continuously improve production and operation efficiency, and make every effort to build a benchmark manufacturing base for Haili Marelli overseas. The second is to seize location opportunities and cultivate new growth poles. Based on Thailand's location advantage as the core hub of ASEAN's home appliance and automotive industries, we will promote the construction of EDC projects with high standards, and build the projects into the core competitiveness and new performance growth points of the enterprise. The third is to deepen cross industry regional coordination and linkage. Relying on Highly's diversified industrial layout, we will promote the Thai base to share and build high-quality resources such as manufacturing technology, cost control, overseas supply chain and international talents, fully release the value of industrial synergy in Southeast Asia, and expand the development space of the Group's overseas market.

Wang Chenhao stressed that after Highly's acquisition of Highly Marili, after nearly two years of internal quality improvement and reform, the enterprise's operation has ushered in an important turn. As a key carrier of the group's international layout, the Thailand base carries the important mission of expanding the Southeast Asian market and improving the overseas industrial chain. Highly Group should firmly grasp the opportunity of the era of ASEAN regional development, take the Thai base as the fulcrum, deeply integrate regional industrial resources, continue to improve the competitiveness of overseas markets, and promote the overseas business of Shanghai Electric and Highly Group to achieve higher quality development with practical achievements.
