Recently, the inauguration ceremony of the Highly Marelli Guangzhou New Base was successfully held in Guangzhou. Leaders from both the government and the enterprise attended the event and jointly illuminated the Highly Marelli brand logo, demonstrating Highly Marelli's firm commitment to deepening its presence in the automotive thermal management sector, accelerating industrial upgrading, and strengthening its strategic layout in the Chinese market.

To accommodate the rapid growth momentum of its business in the China region, Highly Marelli recently completed the full relocation of its Guangzhou base from Huadu District to Huangpu District, and successfully commenced operations. This relocation is not merely a geographic adjustment, but a comprehensive upgrade at the strategic level — the new base integrates the South China Regional Office, with business functions upgraded from a single manufacturing function to an integrated operating system encompassing "manufacturing, R&D, and sales," further solidifying and enhancing its core competitive advantages.

The upgraded new base has seen significant enhancement in overall capabilities, with plant floor space expanded to 9,000 square meters and production scale achieving a leap-forward increase. Production line configurations have been continuously optimized, currently equipped with 6 molding machines and 4 assembly and testing lines, with plans to add 7 small injection molding machines in the future to advance in-house production of key raw materials, further strengthening the stability and self-sufficiency of the supply chain. According to the long-term development plan, the Guangzhou base will steadily march toward the production target of 1 million automotive air conditioning units annually, with projected annual output value exceeding RMB 600 million, accounting for over 40% of the China region's total sales, becoming the core strategic pillar driving the business growth of Highly Marelli China.

Jia Tinggang, Vice President of Shanghai Electric Group, and Xu Dan, Deputy District Mayor of Guangzhou Huangpu District, delivered speeches on behalf of the enterprise and the government respectively.
