Bringing Cool Relief in the Scorching Summer, Putting Heatstroke Prevention Care into Action

As the peak of summer arrives, the production workshops across Highly's various manufacturing bases are filled with intense heat, with temperatures soaring beside the machinery. Frontline cadres and employees remain steadfast at their posts, ensuring the orderly progression of production. To effectively implement summer heatstroke prevention and labor protection measures, and to translate corporate care into tangible actions, the leadership team of Highly Group recently visited overseas and domestic production sites across Shanghai, Nanchang, Anhui, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Wuhu, and other locations nationwide to conduct high-temperature condolence visits, while also inspecting the implementation of safety production and heatstroke prevention measures. Heatstroke prevention supplies and warm regards were delivered to every employee holding firm in the heat.

At each stop, the visiting leaders first went directly to the production workshops for on-site inspections, paying close attention to improvements in the workshop working environment, the operation and maintenance of cooling facilities, the availability of heatstroke prevention supplies and medications, and the implementation of employee shift rotation and rest systems. They presented care packages to frontline workers, expressing gratitude for their dedication and perseverance, while also engaging in friendly conversations, reminding everyone to balance work and rest, take proper self-protective measures, and listening to their needs and suggestions. The leadership teams of each enterprise were urged to fulfill their primary responsibilities, fully implement heatstroke prevention and safety production measures, and firmly safeguard the safety底线 during the high-temperature season.

01 Highly Marelli Thailand Plant

On August 13, Wang Chenhao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Electric Group and Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Electromechanical Trade Union, led a delegation to the Highly Thailand Base for a research visit and conducted high-temperature condolence visits on the production frontline, bringing care and encouragement to Chinese employees stationed overseas. He carefully inquired about the progress of the Thailand Base construction and showed concern for the work and living conditions of the dispatched employees, urging the management team to both effectively implement safety production measures to ensure the smooth progress of project construction and address the practical needs of employees, so that everyone can work with peace of mind and strengthen the centripetal force for overseas development. Sun Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Highly Group, Mao Lihua, CQO of Highly Marelli, and relevant business leaders accompanied the visit.

02 Hangzhou Fusheng

On July 9, Wei Xudong, Chief Financial Officer of Shanghai Electric Group, and Zhang Yan, Chief Compliance Officer, visited the precision machining workshop of Hangzhou Fusheng to extend their condolences. They were accompanied by Luo Min, Deputy General Manager and Board Secretary of Highly Group. The delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the workshop's high-temperature working conditions, advising employees to take scientific heatstroke prevention measures and practice safe operations.

03 Anhui Highly

On July 10, Sun Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Highly Group, visited the precision casting section of Anhui Highly to extend condolences to frontline workers. He carefully inspected the ventilation and cooling equipment operation in the casting workshop, and urged the enterprise to prioritize employee health protection, detailing thoughtful measures such as high-temperature allowances and off-peak production scheduling.

04 Nanchang Highly

On July 17, Li Yilong, General Manager of Highly Group, led a delegation to Nanchang Highly for high-temperature condolence visits. They expressed concern over the construction of the new Nanchang base, gaining an understanding of the progress of key work including production preparation, equipment commissioning, and capacity breakthroughs. They also conducted a detailed review of the implementation of heat protection measures in the workshops, while distributing heatstroke prevention supplies to onsite employees and reminding everyone to balance work and rest and take good care of their personal health.

On July 17 and July 30, Sun Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Highly Group, and Zou Xuming, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of the Trade Union of Highly Group, respectively visited Highly Electrical Appliances Shanghai Plant, Wuhu New Energy, and Wuhu Highly Marelli to extend condolences. The leaders went deep into the production frontline, conducting on-site inspections of the implementation and effectiveness of heatstroke prevention measures in each workshop, checking the supply of heatstroke prevention materials and the establishment of emergency response mechanisms. They also visited various workstations to greet and comfort on-duty employees, urging them to take good self-protection measures while remaining at their posts, reasonably adjust their work and rest schedules, and maintain a good working condition.

Around July 20 and on August 13, Zhu Haoli, Deputy General Manager of Highly Group, and Zou Xuming, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of the Trade Union of Highly Group, respectively visited Mianyang Highly, Highly Nakano, and Zhengzhou Highly to extend high-temperature condolences.
